TWIST FIT CAP

PRESS FIT CAP

The drain clearing power of Jack Logun's Drain Pro is instantly generated by the rapid expansion of very cold gases from the Can meeting room temperature water in the drain. The rapid expansion uses the water as a ram to drive the blockage. This understanding and the following points will help you to achieve maximum results with Jack Logun's Drain Pro.

NOTE:
- It is recommended that the large black Universal Adapter is used wherever possible to ensure a perfect seal is achieved.
- Shake the Can before using.
- Remember to cover the overflow.

(1) BLOCKED DRAIN

a) Fill the sink / bathtub etc with water until it is over the blue cap.
b) Make certain the overflow is covered so that the gas does not escape before it mixes with water. It must also be covered so that the blockage material is forced down the drain and not out of the overflow.
c) Make sure Jack Logun's Drain Pro has a good seal at the drain.
d) All that is required is a one second burst. A burst of more than one second is a waste of the gas. Based on a one second burst, the Can will deliver the stated number of applications. (12 applications for the Refill Can and 24 applications for the Kit Can.

(2) SLOW MOVING DRAIN

a) In a sink or bathtub, place Jack Logun's Drain Pro over the drain and fill until water is over the blue cap.
aa) In a shower drain or floor drain place Jack Logun's Drain Pro, with the Universal Adapter, over the drain and fill the blue cap with water.
b) Make sure any overflows are covered so that the gas does not escape before it mixes with water. It must also be covered so that the blockage material is forced down the drain and not out of the overflow.
c) In most cases, all that is required is a one second burst. If , after the first application the drain is not free flowing repeat step (a) or (aa). With the tap running, when possible, apply 2 to 3 quick bursts.

Jack Logun's Drain Pro will clear most blockages and slow moving drains. However, objects such as small toys etc that are securely lodged in the toilet or drain may require the services of a snake or a Professional Plumber.

Note: Remember to block overflows.

Important! Do not use in clogged drains where acid or lye products may still be present. Splash back of these products can burn skin or eyes.

Single/Double Sink or Tub:

(Fig 1 & 2) The Universal Adapter is not required to clear kitchen sinks or tubs. Please see directions on the Can. Should the sink or tub have a lever operated metal stopper simply remove the Insert from the Plastic Cap. The Plastic Cap will now fit over the stopper and create a seal at the drain.

Toilet:
  1. Shake Can well. Place Universal Adapter over Plastic Cap and the Extension Handle over the Can as shown.
  2. Push the Universal Adapter into the mouth of the Toilet, creating a seal. The Plastic Cap must be submerged.
  3. Apply pressure for one second and release. Repeat if necessary.

Garbage Disposal/Floor Drain with Removable Grate:

  1. Shake Can well.
  2. Place Universal Adapter on Plastic Cap as shown and accumulate water in drain.
  3. Place over drain (Fig 4) add enough water to cover Plastic Cap, or fill Plastic Cap with water, press down for one second and release. Repeat if necessary.

Shower or Floor Drains with Fixed Grates

  1. Shake Can well.
  2. Place Universal Adapter on Plastic Cap as shown and accumulate water in drain.
  3. Fill Plastic Cap with water as shown, press down for one second and release. Repeat if necessary.

If drain is not cleared after 3 applications, obstruction requires the service of a plumber.

Jack Logun's Drain Pro is an environment friendly instant drain cleaner that clears obstructed and slow moving drains safely, without the use of acids or harsh chemicals.

The force used to remove a blockage does not come from the pressure in the can.  When the formula in the can is released and comes in contact with the water, it expands rapidly to create a standing wave.  This standing wave uses the water in the pipe as a ram, pushing it down in the drain and making it possible to clear a blockage up to 50 feet away in a  1½" diameter pipe!  Even with this capability, you can be assured that any sound plastic, metal,  or galvanized pipe will not be damaged.

How Far Down Can It Clear My Pipes?

  • 50' down a 1½" diameter pipe
  • 45' down a 2" diameter pipe
  • 35' down a 2½" diameter pipe
  • 25' down a 4" diameter pipe
  • 18' down a 5" diameter pipe
  • 12' down a 6" diameter pipe
